How does drop-in billing work?
You set age-tiered hourly rates once. When a family checks out at the kiosk, Bloomily computes the charge automatically from the time they were checked in — no manual math, no end-of-day reconciliation.
Do families need to sign up in advance?
No — a family can register on their phone via QR code when they walk in: parent info, child info, and a signed waiver, then check in right away. Returning families check in faster since their info is already on file.
How do I get paid?
Three ways, and you’re not locked into one: charge the card on file at pickup, let autopay collect it overnight, or let the family pay from their own portal. Every visit closes into a same-day invoice either way.
What do families pay in processing fees?
Parents pay directly through the app: 3.5% on cards (plus $0.30 on transactions under $60), or 1.0% on ACH bank transfer ($0.50 minimum, $8 max). Processing fees are passed through from Stripe at cost — Bloomily doesn’t mark them up.
Can I run a drop-in center alongside scheduled programs?
Yes — drop-in billing runs on the same platform as camps, preschool, and afterschool, so a center that also runs scheduled sessions doesn’t need a second system.
