What it costs to get paid
Families pay tuition right in Bloomily. Every payment has a processing fee. Your program decides who covers it — your families, or you.
Fees always apply
There is a processing fee on every payment taken through Bloomily. That is true for every program, on every plan. It pays for moving the money safely from a family’s card or bank to yours.
You do not choose whether the fee applies. You choose who covers it.
The rates
Two ways to pay, two rates
Bank transfer costs a lot less than a card. Most families use it once they see the difference.

That is the whole fee. Nothing else is added per payment. Your Bloomily plan is a separate flat monthly price.

Who covers the fee?
You pick when you set up payments, and you can change it any time. Cards and bank transfers are set separately.
If families cover it
What a family sees
The fee shows as its own line before they pay. Nothing is hidden. Paying by bank transfer costs them much less than paying by card.
What your program gets
The full tuition, every time. Your revenue is the number on the invoice. Most programs choose this.

Exactly the tuition you charge. Nothing is added at checkout.
What your program gets
Tuition minus the fee. It comes out of your payout, so plan for it the way you plan for any cost of doing business.
Payouts
How the money reaches your bank
Payments are processed by Stripe. When a family pays, the money goes to your own Stripe account — not to a Bloomily account. Stripe then sends it to the bank account you connected.
Card payments clear right away. Bank transfers take a few days to clear, which is normal for ACH. Stripe pays out on the schedule set on your Stripe account, and you can see every payout there.
You connect your bank to Stripe during setup. Bloomily never sees or stores your account number.

Answered plainly
Can we turn processing fees off?
No. Every payment taken through Bloomily has a processing fee. What you choose is who covers it — your families, or your program.
Is there a second Bloomily fee on top of this?
No. The rate you see is the whole processing fee. Your Bloomily plan is a separate flat monthly price, and nothing else is added per payment.
Can we pass the card fee to families but cover the bank-transfer fee ourselves?
Yes. Cards and bank transfers are set separately, so you can choose a different answer for each one.
When can we change who covers the fee?
Any time, in your Billing settings. The change applies to payments made after you save it. Payments already made do not change.

Processing fees are per payment. Bloomily itself is one flat monthly price, published for everyone.
