About Bloomily SMS Notifications

Kids Go Out LLC, doing business as Bloomily ("Bloomily"), offers optional SMS (text message) notifications delivered by Bloomily on behalf of participating childcare centers, preschools, and camps to help parents and guardians stay connected with their child's care. By opting in to SMS notifications, you consent to receive transactional text messages from Bloomily on behalf of your childcare center (and other participating programs associated with your account) regarding your child's care and your account.

1. Types of Messages

1.1 Parent & Guardian Notifications

When you opt in to Bloomily SMS notifications as a parent or guardian, you may receive the following types of messages:

  • Attendance Alerts: Notifications when your child is checked in or checked out
  • Emergency Notifications: Urgent messages about facility closures, weather events, or safety concerns
  • Announcements: Important updates from your childcare center
  • Schedule Changes: Notifications about changes to hours, events, or programs
  • Event Reminders: Reminders about upcoming events, picture days, or deadlines
  • Billing & Enrollment Updates: Notifications about billing activity, invoice postings, payment confirmations, and enrollment confirmations or changes
  • Authentication / Login Codes: One-time passcodes or verification codes sent to verify your identity and secure access during account login or password reset processes

1.2 Sales & Inquiry Follow-Up Messages

If you are a childcare professional who has provided your phone number through our website demo request form, Facebook Lead Ad form, Google Ads lead form, or other inquiry channel, you may receive one-to-one text messages from the Bloomily team regarding:

  • Demo Scheduling: Coordinating a personalized walkthrough of the Bloomily platform
  • Product Questions: Responses to your questions about features, pricing, or implementation
  • Onboarding Follow-Up: Assistance with getting started after you sign up

These messages are conversational and sent by a real person on the Bloomily team. Typical frequency is 1-3 messages per inquiry. We do not send automated bulk marketing or promotional SMS to prospective customers.

2. How to Opt In

2.1 Parents & Guardians

You can opt in to receive SMS notifications from Bloomily in two ways:

  • During Account Registration: When creating your Bloomily account, you can provide your phone number and check the box to receive SMS notifications. This consent is optional and not required to use the service.
  • In Your Account Settings: Log into your Bloomily account, go to Settings, find the "SMS Notifications" section, and enter your phone number to enable SMS notifications.

2.2 Childcare Professionals (Inquiry & Sales)

If you are a childcare center owner, director, or administrator, you may opt in to receive SMS follow-up messages when you provide your phone number and consent to SMS through any of the following channels:

  • Website Demo Request Form: By entering your phone number and checking the SMS consent checkbox on our demo request form at bloomily.app/demo
  • Facebook Lead Ad Forms: By submitting a lead form through our Facebook or Instagram ads, which includes an SMS consent disclaimer
  • Google Ads Lead Forms: By submitting a lead form through our Google ads, which includes an SMS consent disclaimer

Providing your phone number and consenting to SMS is always optional and is not a condition of receiving a demo or using the service.

Consent Disclosure

By opting in, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the phone number provided, and you consent to receive text messages from Bloomily at this number. For parents and guardians, this includes automated transactional messages on behalf of participating childcare centers (attendance alerts, emergency notifications, announcements, schedule changes, event reminders, billing and enrollment updates, and authentication codes). For childcare professionals, this includes one-to-one follow-up messages regarding your inquiry, demo scheduling, and product questions. You understand that consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your childcare center's activity and settings. Typical usage includes:

  • 1-2 messages per day for attendance notifications
  • Occasional messages for announcements and reminders
  • Billing and enrollment messages as needed
  • Authentication codes when you request them (e.g., login or password reset)
  • Emergency messages as needed (rare)

Most users receive approximately 5-15 messages per week, though this may vary based on your center's communication preferences.

4. How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving SMS messages from Bloomily at any time:

4.1 Reply STOP

Text STOP to any message you receive from Bloomily. You will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS notifications.

If you want to re-subscribe after opting out, reply START.

4.2 In Your Account Settings

Log into your Bloomily account, go to Settings, and disable SMS notifications.

4.3 Contact Support

Email hello@bloomily.app with your phone number and a request to unsubscribe.

Bloomily does not charge for SMS messages. However, message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Standard messaging rates from your carrier will apply to messages sent and received. Check with your carrier for details about your plan.

7. Privacy

Your phone number and SMS preferences are protected under our Privacy Policy. Key protections include:

  • We will never sell your phone number to third parties
  • We will never send automated bulk marketing or promotional SMS
  • Your number is only used for childcare-related notifications (parents) or one-to-one inquiry follow-up (childcare professionals)
  • We use secure systems to protect your contact information

8. Supported Carriers

Bloomily SMS notifications are compatible with all major U.S. carriers, including but not limited to: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and most regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Sample Messages

Parent & Guardian Notifications:

Bloomily (Sunshine Preschool): Emma was checked in at 8:15 AM. Reply STOP to opt out.

Bloomily (Sunshine Preschool): Emma was checked out at 5:30 PM. Reply STOP to opt out.

Bloomily URGENT (Sunshine Preschool): Closing early at 2PM due to weather. Please pick up Emma ASAP.

Bloomily (Sunshine Preschool): Payment received. Thank you. Reply STOP to opt out.

Bloomily (Sunshine Preschool): Enrollment update: Emma's summer camp registration is confirmed. Reply STOP to opt out.

Bloomily: Your verification code is 123456. It expires in 10 minutes. Do not share this code.

Sales & Inquiry Follow-Up:

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the Bloomily app or via email. Continued use of SMS notifications after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
