Take payments in Bloomily, and skip this step.

Each family downloads its own year-end statement from Billing in their Bloomily account. It lists every payment recorded in Bloomily and the tax ID the school saved. The office can download any family’s statement as a PDF too.

Questions, answered

What goes on a year-end child care statement?

Your name, address and tax ID, what the family paid in the year, and the dates of care. IRS Form 2441 asks families for the provider’s name, address, tax ID and amount paid. Many dependent care FSA claims ask for the dates of care too.

Is anything I type sent or saved?

No. The statements are made in your browser, and nothing you type leaves it. Nothing is saved either. Print each statement, or save it as a PDF, before you close the page.

Which tax ID goes on the statement?

Form 2441 asks families for each provider’s identifying number: a Social Security number or an EIN. Publication 503 has the details. If you are not sure which one to give, ask a tax professional.

Is this tax advice?

No. This page makes a record of what each family paid. The rules for the child and dependent care credit are in IRS Form 2441 and Publication 503. Check with a tax professional about your own situation.

Does Bloomily make these statements?

Yes, for schools that take payments in Bloomily. Each family downloads its own year-end statement from Billing. It lists every payment recorded in Bloomily and the tax ID the school saved.
