Child Care Assistance Program. It is run by the Louisiana Department of Education.
The family must be responsible for child care costs for a child under age 13, or under 18 with a disability. Parents or guardians must meet a requirement such as working at least 20 hours a week or attending school or training full time. Household income must fall within CCAP limits, and the child must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen living in Louisiana.
Families apply online in the Louisiana CAFÉ system, where they also upload documents and check their status. Official page: https://cafe-cp.doe.louisiana.gov/edselfservice/
Providers who want to take part in CCAP apply through the online CAFÉ system. First, providers review the application packet and the provider requirements. Then they begin the CCAP provider application in the CAFÉ Provider Portal.
