Bloomily vs. Calendly
Choose Bloomily when a booked preschool tour should lead to offers, forms, deposits and tuition, or when camp families should register by the week. Calendly is a scheduling tool with booking pages, reminders and payment at booking, which suits tours and meetings on their own.

Calendly in its own words
Calendly says it helps you "get the busywork done with fewer tools and less effort," from AI-powered scheduling to meeting recaps and follow-ups (Calendly). It is a scheduling tool. Its education page speaks to admission interviews, office hours and advising (Calendly for education). For a preschool or camp, the natural fit is tours and family meetings.
Its Free plan includes one event type. Seats are needed for the people who host meetings, but not for the people who book them. Its pricing page also lists booking pages for group, collective or other shared meeting formats, and reminders sent automatically before meetings (Calendly pricing). Payments run through Stripe or PayPal, and Calendly says it adds no fee of its own for payment features. You can collect payment at booking, including deposits, and create, send and track invoices (Calendly payments).
Where Bloomily fits a preschool or camp better
A booked time is the start. What comes next is a place, paperwork, a first bill and a first morning. Bloomily carries each family through those steps.
Preschool: from tour to first day. At 9 PM a new family finds your page on their phone. It has your hours, your number and Book a tour (Bloomily for preschools). Parents pick real slots, and requests land in the enrollment pipeline by morning (Bloomily website builder). Offers, forms, deposits and waitlists are part of the same pipeline. Missing signatures get reminders in each family's language (Bloomily enrollment). Once a child starts, tuition bills on your charge day, and families on autopay pay without a nudge (Bloomily for preschools).
Preschool: meetings after enrollment. For parent-teacher conferences, parents see real available times with their child's own teacher and book in a tap (Bloomily conferences).
Camp: registration by the week. Families register from your camp's own page and pay a deposit. Each week has its own capacity, and a full week keeps a waiting list (Bloomily for camps). Families can pay in full, pay a deposit, or use a payment plan. Sibling discounts, early-bird prices and promo codes apply at checkout (Bloomily camp registration). Deposits come in at registration, and the balance bill is made for you.
Payments and the first morning. Families pay by card or bank transfer (ACH), and the money goes to your own Stripe account (Bloomily payments). Each family has one autopay, one statement and one history, however many children it has (Bloomily billing). On the first morning, families type the last 4 digits of their phone and a PIN at a tablet by the door (Bloomily check-in).
When Calendly is enough
Calendly fits when the job is booking a time. If you mostly schedule tours, interviews and family meetings, and enrollment runs well elsewhere, a booking link may be all you need. Its Free plan covers one event type, and families who book need no seat.
You may need more when:
- You copy each tour booking into a separate enrollment list by hand.
- You send forms, offers and deposit requests from different places after each tour.
- You track the waitlist in a spreadsheet.
- Tuition and camp balances are invoiced one by one.
Those are the jobs Bloomily connects. If you run a preschool, you can keep Calendly for other meetings and let families book tours from your page in Bloomily. If you run a camp, you might keep Calendly for open-house visits or family calls, and run registration in Bloomily.
Moving from Calendly to Bloomily
Bring the list you keep today, as it is. AI help does the reading. That can be a spreadsheet, another system's export, a PDF or a photo of a paper list. Nothing saves until you approve it.
When you are ready, send each family one invite. Their child is already on their account. Keep your old system running beside Bloomily as long as you like (Switching to Bloomily).
Questions to ask in both demos
- How would a tour booked on the calendar turn into an enrollment application with the child's details?
- How would a family enroll in a weekly schedule, rather than a single meeting time?
- How would monthly tuition be billed and charged on its own after enrollment?
- How would a camp week's capacity and waitlist be managed?
- How would staff record a child's check-in and check-out each day?
- How would families receive photos and messages from the classroom or group?
- How would a preschool family get a year-end statement of childcare payments?
Which one fits your program
Keep Calendly for booking times. Choose Bloomily when a preschool tour should lead into enrollment and tuition, or when a camp registers families by the week. See Bloomily for preschools, Bloomily for camps, Bloomily's preschool pricing and Bloomily's camp pricing.
