Connecteam says it brings scheduling, time tracking, communication and HR into one app (Connecteam). It is a staff management tool. Its education page offers to "schedule classes, create digital forms and track staff work hours." It also offers to schedule teachers "based on their skills, expertise, and availability" (Connecteam for education).

On its home page, Connecteam describes one-tap clock-ins, location checks and automatic clock-outs. Staff complete tasks and digital forms from their phones, with photos and signatures. Managers can share updates, chat, and see who has read every message (Connecteam). Its time clock page says employees confirm their timesheets before a manager approves them. Work areas can be geofenced, and hours sync straight to payroll (Connecteam time clock). Its pricing page lists a free Small Business Plan for up to 10 users, with paid hubs priced separately (Connecteam pricing).

Where Bloomily fits a preschool or camp better

Connecteam's education page speaks to teachers and staff. A preschool or camp also has children coming through the door and families waiting to hear about their day. Bloomily keeps both sides on the same records.

The front door, for children and staff. Families check in at a tablet by the door: the last 4 digits of their phone, then a PIN (Bloomily check-in). Counselors with their campers (camps). Counselors check campers in and out from the staff app on iPhone. Campers sit in groups, and counselors share a photo album with each group (Bloomily camp registration).

Certificates and timesheets. CPR and First Aid are tracked for each person and flagged before they lapse (Bloomily for staff). Timesheets export a payroll-ready CSV for whoever runs your payroll (Bloomily staff time).

Families who hear from you. Families are notified when their child is checked in or out (Bloomily parent app). A parent sets their language once: your messages arrive translated, and theirs come back in yours. Broadcasts go out by push and email (Bloomily communication).

Using Connecteam and Bloomily together

Connecteam reaches past the time clock. Its pages name HR, digital forms with photos and signatures, and team chat that shows who has read each message. If you use those for staff paperwork and internal updates, they may keep a job after Bloomily runs your program. Bloomily's messages are between your team and families.

The time clock is where the two overlap. Pick one, so you keep one set of hours. Connecteam says its hours sync straight to payroll. Bloomily gives you a CSV to download and upload to your payroll company. In a preschool, Bloomily's room ratios come from real check-ins of children and staff.

Moving from Connecteam to Bloomily

Connecteam holds your team. Bloomily's import starts with your families. Bring the list you keep today, as it is. AI help does the reading. A spreadsheet, another system's export, a PDF or a photo of a paper list. It reads children, families and pickup people, and nothing saves until you approve it. Your staff are not part of that import.

When you are ready, send each family one invite. Their child is already on their account. Keep your old system running beside Bloomily as long as you like (Switching to Bloomily).

• How do hours reach your payroll company: a sync, or a file?
