Wix in its own words

Wix sums itself up as "Hosting, business tools, domains and marketing built in" (Wix). Its template gallery includes designs made for daycares, for kindergartens and for summer camps (Wix education templates).

For bookings and forms, Wix offers Wix Bookings and Wix Forms. Wix Bookings handles "private sessions, group classes or multi-session courses." It can mark participants as checked in or as no-shows, and manage waitlists. It also collects intake forms and sends reminders by email, SMS or WhatsApp (Wix scheduling software). You can add Wix Bookings for free, but you must upgrade your site to accept bookings (About Wix Bookings). When clients book a course, they sign up for the whole course and all its sessions (Scheduling your courses). A Wix Forms payment field can collect a fixed price, such as a registration fee or a deposit. The visitor then goes to a checkout page to pay (Wix Forms payments).

Where Bloomily fits a preschool or camp better

Using Wix and Bloomily together

You do not have to choose on day one. If you love your Wix design, keep it for your main site. Your camp programs can publish to your own page on a bloomily.app address (Bloomily program pages), and your Wix site can link to it.

Wix Bookings and a payment form can be enough for a one-off event, such as an open house. A full season asks more of you: weeks or monthly tuition, deposits and balances, a morning check-in and family messages. Those jobs need to share each family's record, and that is the part Bloomily runs.

If design control is what you value most, Wix's own pages speak to that. If you would rather your programs publish from the same records your staff use, move the site into Bloomily too.

Moving from Wix to Bloomily

Bring the list you keep today, as it is. AI help does the reading. That list can be a spreadsheet, another system's export, a PDF or a photo of a paper list. Nothing saves until you approve it.
