Bloomily vs. EZChildTrack
Choose Bloomily when your preschool or after-school program wants a parent app, translated messages, pickup PINs and tuition working together. EZChildTrack describes online billing, a parent portal and several attendance options for after-school, daycare and camp programs, so compare the family side closely.

EZChildTrack in its own words
EZChildTrack calls itself "a comprehensive online childcare software with automated billing/payment, parent portal, site access and multiple attendance options" (EZChildTrack). Its about page says it serves "afterschool programs, daycare services, summer camps, and more." It is a division of GTSoft Inc. (About EZChildTrack). It also works with EZReports, the company's software for 21st CCLC grant-funded after-school programs (EZChildTrack).
Its features page lists online registration that collects the registration fee at sign-up, and calendar-based enrollment for flexible schedules. Parents pay online, enroll in autopay, and download receipts and tax statements. Late pickups are billed automatically, and agency invoices are generated from attendance. Staff check in and out too, and you can send text messages in bulk to account holders (EZChildTrack features). Children check in with a parent PIN or student badges (EZChildTrack). A meal tracking module keeps food program information for CACFP (EZChildTrack meal tracking).
Where Bloomily fits a center or after-school program better
Bloomily is built around the hours your program runs, the people who pick children up and the families waiting for news.
Families who follow the day on their phone. The parent app runs on iPhone and Android (Bloomily for parents). Families see photos, daily reports and updates, check in with a tap and report absences. They view invoices, pay and set up autopay in the app. They are notified when their child is checked in or out (Bloomily parent app).
Pickup you can see. Parents add pickup people, each with their own PIN. The office sees each one and can remove them. Attendance shows who arrived, who went home and who picked them up (Bloomily for before and after school). At the door, families type the last 4 digits of their phone and a PIN, or show a code from the app (Bloomily check-in).
After school on the district's calendar. Before care, after care and early-release days follow your district's calendar. Set your late fee once, and each late pickup waits on Today for you to charge or waive (Bloomily for before and after school). Your school calendar holds no-school days, early release and late starts (Bloomily after-school software).
Messages in each family's language. A parent sets their language once. Your messages arrive translated, and their replies come back in yours. Broadcasts go out by push and email, and quiet hours never hold an urgent message (Bloomily communication).
Rooms in a preschool. Each room shows who is in it and whether it has enough teachers. At 3:30 PM teachers finish the day's report and add photos (Bloomily for preschools).
What to check if you rely on EZChildTrack's grant and agency tools
If you run a 21st CCLC program, test grant reporting first. EZChildTrack works with EZReports for that job. Bloomily has thirty reports across attendance, money, enrollment, health, staff and programs, exported to CSV or PDF (Bloomily reports). Bring your grant's required report and ask each company to produce it.
For subsidies, EZChildTrack generates agency invoices from attendance. In Bloomily, a subsidy invoice splits the agency's share from the family's. You still file your claim with the agency (Bloomily daycare management). Bring one subsidized family's month to both demos.
If you claim CACFP, EZChildTrack's meal tracking module keeps food program records. Bloomily does not run the CACFP food program, so weigh that if meal claims are part of your month.
Moving from EZChildTrack to Bloomily
Bring the list you keep today, as it is. AI help does the reading. That can be a spreadsheet, another system's export, a PDF or a photo of a paper list. Nothing saves until you approve it.
When you are ready, send each family one invite. Their child is already on their account. Keep your old system running beside Bloomily as long as you like (Switching to Bloomily).
Questions to ask in both demos
- Is the family side a phone app, a web portal or both, and what do families see there?
- Can a full program keep a waitlist and offer the next spot automatically?
- What are the card and bank processing fees, and can they be passed to families?
- Are classroom ratios shown live from check-ins?
- Can the program publish its own enrollment website from the system?
- How are early-release and no-school days set up for before and after care?
- Can families and staff message each other in each family's own language?
Which one fits your program
Choose Bloomily when you want families on a phone app, pickup people with their own PINs and care days on your district's calendar. If grant reporting, agency invoices or CACFP meal records are your main jobs, EZChildTrack's pages speak to them.
