How to use this form

  1. Start a sheet when the child arrives, and keep it in the room.
  2. Write each meal, nap and change as it happens, not at the end of the day.
  3. Use “Please send” for diapers, wipes or a change of clothes.
  4. Hand the sheet to the adult at pickup.

Check your state’s rules

Some states require written records of infant feeding, sleep or diapering. Check your state’s rules for what you must keep, and for how long.

Do this in Bloomily

In Bloomily, teachers log meals, naps and diapers with a tap on the room’s tablet. Each child’s report builds from those taps, and families read it in the parent app.

Questions, answered

What should a daycare daily report include?

Meals and how much was eaten, naps, diapers or bathroom trips, and mood. Add one thing the child did, and a short note home.

Is this form for infants or older children?

Both. Leave the diaper rows blank for a child who uses the toilet. Use the notes for potty training.

See it with your name on the door.
